The Communication Issue (Alert) status occurs when there is an issue connecting with one or more of the borrowers financial institutions to retrieve financial data. There are multiple reasons why this might occur, including the FI's website being temporarily down.
Generally, this error will resolve naturally once the FI’s website and our ability to connect with it are restored. We recommend waiting for 24 hours, and then having the borrower log back in to AccountChek to attempt to relink the affected FI(s).
If the error persists for more than 24 hours, please contact email@example.com and provide the borrower name and loan number so that we can escalate the issue.
